As Rob explains, Antarctica is kind of like earth's pristine memory bank. By preserving Antarctica as a place of science and peace, unowned by any nation, we …

Vietnam – Wow, What a World

Heart racing. Shivers. It’s so cold. Hold the brake. Honk the horn. Lean in to the curve. I’m so glad I have gloves. Motorbiking northern Vietnam was a series of abrupt thoughts and cool weather. Having spent the last month in the tropics, I wasn’t used to wearing socks to bed or needing a windbreaker …

Happy International Day of Forests 🌲 Have you ever just enjoyed a tree? Some of my best naps have been under the shade of a tree. I’ve climbed more than I can count, and I’ll never forget how the branches of the Japanese Maple outside of my childhood home felt. I’ve marveled at trees that are thousands of years old, and I’ve thanked countless others for their wisdom. Argos’s big day out in the Big 🍎! We visited the Museum of the Dog and were so lucky that one of our favorite friends is the Manager of Visitor Experience there because Argos had a GREAT time 😍🤓 Summer evenings on the Maine coast are just 👌🏼 Come see for yourself at @hogislandaudubon 🌲 Happy World Wildlife Day! This year’s theme is “Partnerships in Conservation,” so I asked friends and family (and their families!) how they thought they could be good partners to wildlife. Me when I tell a really funny joke. (& everyone else is rolling their eyes because it’s probably a pun or something Fozzie Bear would say) One of my favorite memories in Antarctica was watching this beautiful bonding moment between a mother humpback whale and her calf. 5 of my favorite whale shark facts: Trending vacations for 2023: 🌱 Trips with lower consumer impact It’s been a year since I was back in Kenya and it’s International Zebra Day, so here’s a fun look at these stripey, unpredictable, and sometimes promiscuous equines. 🦓
